AP Accountant Remote – USA,USA Accounts Payable Accountant REMOTE Accounts Payable professionals were looking for you. We currently need an Accounts Payable Accountant for a fully REMOTE role. We are actively pursuing candidates with SAP S/4 Hana ERP Experience. With a chance to develop additional skills, this opportunity is a chance to grow. Accounts Payable Accountant Responsibilities Include but not limited to: – Process & implement payment of invoices – Full cycle AP processing including 3-way match – Resolve discrepancies on invoices – Follow up with vendors on pricing or shipment issues – Perform monthly bank reconciliations – Preparing and positing prepaid, accruals and other liabilities – Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding & matching of invoices/receipts – Assist with the month-end close Accounts Payable Accountant Requirements & Qualifications: – 7 years of general accounting experience – 5 years of recent AP experience – Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or General Business – SAP S/4 Hana system experience REQUIRED – Intermediate Microsoft Excel including pivot tables & vlookups – High degree of accuracy & attention to detail – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work with others in a team environment; demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style. – Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches. – Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend process improvements. – Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information. – Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to present positions to both accounting and non-accounting associates. – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and/or as part of a team. – Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving and follow-through. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
