Please take this opportunity to join the GDIT Team FAA VoICE Air to Ground Protocol Converter (APC) Program in providing highly available and secure communications required to support National Airspace System (NAS) safety critical voice operations. Our work depends on you joining our team to support FAA activities as the Production Manager from our Oklahoma City, OK office with the opportunity for virtual work from home. You will be responsible for the planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling all production work. You will lead and coordinate with cross functional engineering and implementation teams to prepare system equipment for installation. You will be required to manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance to achieve all technical milestones. As the Production Manager, you will have direct customer interaction throughout the entirety of the program lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial and business development activities
+ Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation
+ Develops and maintains a detailed understanding of the systems baseline configuration and how the configuration is able to be customized to meet unique site-specific requirements
+ Develops schedules, bill of material requirements lists, and production plans for products and/or production processes
+ Coordinates the material planning and timing for delivery of products throughout production management lifecycle from requirements definition, procurement, and delivery to the customer
+ Coordinate with Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Procurement, Deployment, and Field Engineering staff will be required
+ Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables
+ Provides status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks
+ Supports Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) efforts as required
+ Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested
+ Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards
Qualifications:

+ ME/MS with 15+ years of experience or BS with 20+ years of experience
+ Must have the ability to manage time and resources in order to meet assigned deadlines
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain the FAA public trust clearance
