Job Description
Responsible for the day-to-day back end systems and sever support and security for the College of Education and Human Sciences.
Implement and maintain servers and back end systems utilized by the College to facilitate lab management, license management, inventory management, backup systems, network security systems, and desktop deployment methods for college teaching laboratories, classrooms, and faculty/staff computing resources.
Responsible for managing and maintaining all necessary security related software, hardware, firewalls, and ensuring PCI compliance where applicable.
Assists with technology-related research and discovery efforts for the college. This includes researching unique software or hardware solutions that faculty and staff may utilize for research, teaching, and/or administration. This will also include researching software and hardware that helps maintain the security integrity of all college systems.
