Job Description

JK Industries, Inc. seeks to employ 3 waterproofing/commercial painters from 04/01/2023-11/30/2023. Duties: Operate and maintain various machines, load and unload heavy materials, clean job site, work at heights above multiple stories, and follow directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. Ability to operate power washer. Removal and replacement of old caulking materials. Painting using roller and airless spray equipment. Frequently lifting, carrying, and holding tools, and supplies. Cleaning tools, equipment, materials, and the construction work area. Work well with a team as well as independently. Follow specific directions and instructions from supervisors. Willing to work at heights above multiple stories.   No experience required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Worksite 7801 N. Robinson St, OKC, OK 73116 and multiple other worksites in Oklahoma County. $21.85/hr Mon-Fri; 40 hrs/wk. Shifts 800am-500pm. OT may be available at $32.78/hr. Employer guarantees work hours equal to at least 3/4ths of the workdays in each 12-wk period of the total employment period. Workers will be paid weekly; the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $14.00 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
