Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Oracle’s Construction & Engineering Business Unit (CEGBU) provide best-in-class products and services for the construction industry, including Textura, the construction industry’s #1 payment supply chain application.

The Technical Product Manager for innovation in Textura will be responsible for executing successful strategies that enable Oracle Textura to deliver unparalleled value to customers in the construction sector. You will collaborate, influence, and execute upon product strategy and vision within the core Textura payment platform. In this role, you will be managing and improving our existing product offerings and executing on designed solutions for a better overall customer experience in the Textura platform.

You will experience Oracle’s wide network with global exposure to our customers and partners. You’ll master executing short-term objectives while preparing for execution of long-term strategies by working closely with internal and external stakeholders. You will be part of a global team working closely with development, quality assurance, cloud operations, and client services to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers.

The successful candidate will do the following in this role:

+ Build next-generation, innovative features to propel the construction industry’s leading payments solution to substantial growth

+ Demonstrate working knowledge of a cloud-based, software-as-a-service product platform in the B2B space

+ Write well-articulated and concise epics and stories to address specific customer business requirements and Textura roadmap initiatives

+ Interact directly with our customers, client services, development, quality assurance, and more to understand and articulate business requirements

+ Be adept at identifying the best approaches to implementing new feature solutions with maximum customer impact

+ Work cross-functionality within the CEGBU product organization to align execution between Textura and other CEGBU products

+ Work with internal teams to execute upon compliance, privacy, risk, information security, support, and operations

+ Effectively and succinctly socialize and communicate new enhancements and changes to internal and external stakeholders

+ Work with Textura product strategy leadership in understanding industry trends and for defining integration vision and roadmap

+ Communicate effectively and crisply with your development and quality assurance delivery team to rapidly deliver new features to customers in production

+ Remove blockers and triage issues effectively in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

+ Contribute to crafting go-to-market messaging and positioning for product marketing, client services, and sales

+ Work effectively within JIRA, Confluence, and other agile-based tools

The Sr. Technical Product Manager will have a minimum of four years leading a software delivery team effectively with the following skills:

+ Proven track record at delivering highly visible, highly valuable features to market on time

+ Working knowledge of cloud-based applications and architecture

+ Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal (English proficiency required)

+ Ability to successfully translate business requirements into detailed, deconstructed functional requirements for development and QA to act upon

+ Experience in working with agile methodologies

+ Effective time management skills

+ Self-learner who adapts well in a fast-paced environment

+ Contributes to process improvements and is an active and engaging team player who seeks out opportunities to assist and learn from team members

+ Understanding and experience with the end-to-end software development lifecycle and methodologies around continuous application delivery

+ Passion and a genuine interest in product management and serving customers with simple but valuable application functionality

This is a remote or office-based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $101,300 to $182,400 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $90,600 to $172,800 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
