Position Summary:

The Supervisor Graduate Medical Education manages the operations and administration of the Graduate Medical Education department, including but not limited to observers, medical and physician assistant students, and rotating residents and fellows.

 

Essential Functions:

 

*Arranges and/or provides administrative support for observers, medical students, physician assistant students, and rotating residents and fellows and coordinates with outside programs and schools for timely onboarding

 

* Assists the Manager Graduate Medical Education in other activities required to manage and/or enhance graduate, undergraduate, and observation programs for INTEGRIS Health facilities and integrate and/or develop future programs

 

* Provides development and oversight for the INTEGRIS Health Summer Pre-Med program.

 

* In conjunction with Manager Graduate Medical Education establishes and implements departmental goals and objectives applicable to areas of responsibility

 

* Supports Manager Graduate Medical Education in development of policies, procedures and processes required to manage graduate, undergraduate, and observation at INTEGRIS Health facilities

 

* Provides oversight for all processes related to observers, medical students, physician assistant students, and rotating residents and fellows at all INTEGRIS Health facilities

 

*Maintains affiliation agreements between INTEGRIS Health facilities and outside programs/schools, reviews TractManager alerts for upcoming renewals and program updates, and in collaboration with Legal, initiates agreements for new rotations

 

*Coordinates with EMR education for Epic training and establishment of SER as appropriate for student, resident, and fellow rotation needs

 

*Collaborates with Community Health Improvement to track and report Community Benefit data

 

*Collaborates with Graduate Medical Education and outside departments to support Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) initiatives

 

* Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

* Bachelors degree required

 

* Previous supervisory experience preferred

 

* Microsoft Office experience

 

* Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)

 

* This job requires the incumbent(s) to operate an INTEGRIS-owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non INTEGRIS-owned) and therefore must have a current Oklahoma State Driver's License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier.
