Description
The ELDT Class A CDL course consists of 160 hours of Oklahoma-approved accredited curriculum which includes the Commercial Learners Permit (CLP) and Pre-trip Inspection (PTI) Programs broken down as follows:
- 40 hours of orientation, policies, logbook instruction, basic operation, safety, vehicle systems, non-vehicle activities, general road skills, commercial driver lifestyle tips, and exam prep; and the Federal Motor Carrier Administration (FMCSA) mandatory Theory curriculum requirements.
- 30 hours of commercial vehicle Pre-Trip Inspection;
- 40 hours instruction on maneuvers and skills;
- 50 hours behind-the-wheel training and observation
