Description

Have you ever wanted to work on airplanes but didn't know where to start? This course is designed to prepare civilian maintenance personnel to effectively and safely perform aircraft general tasks such as FOD/PPE, safety around aircraft, fueling, required tools, jacking aircraft, safety wiring basics, R&R brakes and tires, radio communication, driving around aircraft, servicing oxygen and nitrogen, tech data, de-icing aircraft, understanding and how to write specific forms, and more! 


After meeting the requirements of the program a Certificate of Completion will be issued to apply for the Aircraft Helper position at Vance Air Force Base


Enrollment may be dependent upon the ability to obtain security clearance, passing a required drug screening, and pass a government mandated physical.
