Description
Program Synopsis:
Kiamichi Tech’s Police Officer training academy will provide engaging, realistic, and high-quality law enforcement training and education for Oklahoma commissioned and non-commissioned police officer candidates. The training will consist of more than 700 hands-on training hours and result in the following in-demand employable certifications: Basic Peace Officer Certification; TASER; Stop the Bleed; and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care.
Curriculum synopsis:
CLEET’s standard curriculum encompasses 600 hours of law enforcement education and training focused on ethics; legal matters; traffic control; criminal investigations; patrol; custody and control; firearms; law enforcement driver training; first aid; standard field sobriety testing; radar/lidar; community and human relations; report writing, and more. Kiamichi Tech is expanding on the 600 required hours to add additional training time for the aforementioned subjects, plus adding training time for TASER; Stop the Bleed; and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care totaling more than 700 training hours.
