Description

Medical Assistants learn a brief history of medicine, 
the characteristics needed to be a medical assistant, 
practice good ethical behavior, learn good 
communication skills, how to take patient history, do 
basic patient assessment, assist in minor office 
procedures, phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, 
pharmacology and other basic skills related to 
assisting in any type of medical office with direct 
patient care. Additionally, students are provided the 
opportunity to use the theory in practical clinical 
experiences. In this program, Core Medical 
Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology, and 
Health Careers Core Curriculum are taught.

Refund Policy

100% of the tuition will be refunded if the student drops before the first week of the student's scheduled start date. 50% of the tuition will be refunded to students that withdraw during the first 10 days of instruction. There will be no refund after 15 days of instruction. Fees and the cost of the student's books and supplies are non-refundable
