Instructional Program (CIP)
An Associate Degree in Science in Pre-Education offers a degree path for students interested in teaching at the elementary grade-school level. This flexible degree plan option prepares students to transfer to a Professional Teacher Education program at a four-year college or university where the student can earn teaching certification in one of three areas: Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Special Education. A career in public or private education can be both exciting and diverse. Elementary Teacher graduates will be helping their students discover the world.
Students interested in teaching at the high school level should talk with an advisor to see what degree program would better meet those requirements.
