Instructional Program (CIP)
Description
Students in the Dental Assistant program will learn dental anatomy and
terminology, placement of X-ray film, charting, instrumentation,
sterilization techniques, chair side assisting protocol, taking
impressions, and mixing cement. Students will attend 260 hours of
classroom instruction and will be required to complete 140 hours of
daytime clinical experience at a dental office.
