Description

Students in this Career Major will get instruction in the fundamentals
of wind turbine technology. Students will get a hands on approach to
anything they will face on the job as a Wind Technician as well as real
life technician troubleshooting. Skills learned will all aspects of
industrial electricity/electronics, motor control, hydraulics and
pneumatics, and instrumentation. Another important piece is the safety
in the Energy Industry that will focus on multiple certifications on
climb and rescue equipment on our own climbing tower. Completion of this
program will certify you as a level 1 Wind Energy Technician.

REFUND POLICY:  Student must withdraw through Student Services.  100% tuition if student formally withdraws on the 1st thru the 10th day of class.  100% tuition and supply fees refunded if the technology center cancels the program.  Nonattendance does NOT constitute Official withdraw.  The student must complete an official withdraw form to be eligible for refund. 0% refund after the 10th day of class for the enrollment period. No refund for books or fees
