Description
Courses in this program are designed to prepare individuals to operate lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, power saws, and grinders. Students will learn the theory and operations of the manual/conventional precision machines and Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) machines.
Students will leave this program with the knowledge and skills necessary for entry into the machine trades. Upon successful completion of the program, students may receive occupational certificates from the Oklahoma Department of Career & Technology Education. Occupational certificates may include machinist, machine tool operator, drill press operator, grinding machine operator, lathe operator, mill operator, power saw operator, CNC operator, or CNC machinist.
