Description
The primary objective of the Social Work education program is to prepare competent and effective generalist social work professionals, who are prepared for immediate entry into direct professional practice positions. Students graduating with a degree in social work (BSW) are prepared for employment in many public and private work settings: health care, including hospitals, home health, and hospice; child
welfare; mental health; and income maintenance programs.

Refund Policy
Changes in schedules and complete withdrawals from the institution during the first ten days of classes during the fall and spring semesters or during the first five days of a summer term will result in full charges for courses added and full credit for courses dropped. No refunds will be made after the add/drop period for that session, except as stipulated for Title IV recipients. Refunds based on the day classes are dropped or student withdrawal is filed with Records Office.
