Description
The Associate of Occupational Studies in Welding Technology (AOSWT) degree consists of two academic years containing a total of 60 weeks and 60 semester credit hours. The first academic year of this program is the Tulsa Welding School
(TWS) Professional Welder program (25 semester credit hours), which prepares a graduate for entry level positions in structural, pipe, and thin alloy and/or pipeline welding. The second academic year is directed toward course material for job entry as a Welding Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector (WQA/QCI) containing 35 semester credit hours. Each
course shall be four days a week and will consist of three weeks.
