DESCRIPTION
John Zink Hamworthy Combustion has an opening for a Project Quality Manager in Tulsa, Oklahoma. John Zink continues to grow their Tulsa manufacturing facility into a world class operation. We are recognized for safety, environmental excellence, innovation, and customer service.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE

  • Interprets and clarifies the technical specifications, regulatory standards, drawings, and other contract documents to produce project specific Quality Plans and Inspection Test plans.
  • Prepares audit plans targeting specific activities for evaluation in process with timing that intercepts issues early in the production phase, in order to avoid high cost rework.
  • Plans, coordinates, and presides over global pre-production/pre-inspections meetings to confirm project expectations are understood and agreed upon by the customer, prime contractor, and any sub-contractors.
  • Analyzes incoming inspection and audit reports to verify the planned inspection points and project requirements are in conformance with the Inspection and Test Plan.
  • Reviews qualifications, selects and administers the internal and subcontract inspection resources to ensure individual capabilities align with project demands.
    THE EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING
    Requirements:
  • Five (5) or more years experience with:
  • Heavy production ISO 9001 and/or ASME Section 9 Code inspection
  • Nondestructive testing
  • Protective coatings
  • Specification and regulatory standards
  • Engineering drawing interpretation
  • Quality management systems
  • Experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent, accompanied by continued training in:
  • Fields of welding
  • Nondestructive testing
  • Drawing interpretation
  • Quality assurance – quality control processes, specification and regulatory standard interpretation.
    WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD
  • Ten (10) years experience in ISO 9001 and/or ASME Section 9 Code inspection within a heavy production industry, specifically a petroleum equipment supply industry.
  • Associates degree, accompanied by continued training in:
  • Fields of welding
  • Nondestructive testing
  • Drawing interpretation
  • Quality assurance – quality control processes, specification and regulatory standard interpretation, protective coatings, auditing, ASME, ASTM, AWS codes and standards,
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector, and NACE Level II Coating Inspector
