Job Description

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Business Development Field Representative for the Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE). This position will be located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma .

Job Summary:

This position is responsible all senior level interactions with the following Divisions: FCoE Commanding General, Field Artillery and Air Defense Artillery Commandants, CDID Director and Deputy, TCM- FABD, TCM- BCT Fires, TCM-Fires Cell, TCM- AAMDC, TCM- ADA Brigade, Requirements Development Division (RDD), Concepts Development Division (CDD), Battle Lab, for all applicable current and future Northrop Grumman strategies and programs. Specific programs include: PGK, Rockets, Missiles, DPICM Replacement and CUAS initiatives. The Field Representative will coordinate all USG senior level meetings at the FCoE for Northrop Grumman personnel and advise leadership of possible future prospects for new products and strategy. The Field Representative will coordinate and participate in other key stakeholder engagements as requirements. The Field Representative must also be able to contribute subject matter expertise in short and long range Defense Systems Group strategy development based on in-depth understanding of the US Army Fires Strategy.

The Field Representative will provide monthly reports to and trip reports as required and coordinate activities to support the Northrop Grumman financial goals and ensure accurate and timely correspondence with the customer. Additional duties include coordinating and participating in key conferences/meetings, maintaining active participation within the FCoE community. Represent Northrop Grumman at all FCoE events to include supporting activities in authorized social organizations (AUSA, Field Artillery Association, Air Defense Artillery Association, etc.)

Will proactively create, cultivate, and enhance relationships with current and potential customers and key contacts in industry and the US Government to identify new business opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 20 years of experience in Military, Business Development, Marketing, or related positions with a strong DoD weapons background.

Candidates must have demonstrated professional management experience and skills.

Self-Starter with excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

Team player who is results oriented; winner mentality.

Demonstrated experience in effective and successful negotiations.

Former Military desirable with strong ties to the FCoE.

US citizenship required.

Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.

Some domestic travel will be required.
