Overview
Responsible for assembling and delivering meals and nourishments to patients. Has working knowledge of foods, basic nutrition, and special diets. Interacts with nursing staff to confirm diet orders prior to delivery of food to patients. Complies with food safety and sanitation regulations. Other related duties includes stocking the patient galleys and scrubbing pots and pans. There are multiple food service worker positions/assignments which are performed. Works as needed in other areas of the kitchen as needed, (Salads, Baker, Trayline, Cook, etc.). Will perform all work with accord to the mission, vision, and values of Mercy.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications
Education: GED or High School Diploma prefered but not required.
Other: Must have good communication skills. Basic computer skills.
Preferred Experience: Food Service experience preferred.
