Job Description

Job purpose

The Customer Service Representative I fulfills two primary roles: Receptionist and Customer Service. The Receptionist role manages the front desk daily and performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. When not engaged in reception-specific duties, this position is expected to support the Customer Service Team by responding to the requests of IMMY Customers and taking Customer Orders.

Key duties and responsibilities

Reception:
• Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
• Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
• Receiving and sorting daily mail
• Maintaining entrance area, conference rooms, and breakroom in the absence of the cleaning staff

Customer Service:
• Providing order status and tracking information to the Customer
• Providing requested documents to the Customer such as COA, SDS, Manufacturer’s Declaration
• Inputting orders via phone, fax, and e-mail
• Resolving customer complaints as a result of order entry or shipping errors

Qualifications

Requirements:
GED or High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Effectively interact regularly with management, production, and outside agencies

Preferred Education and Experience:
• Associates degree in administration, communication or another related field a plus
• Knowledge of the medical device industry a plus
