The Credit Risk Specialist is responsible for the independent preparation of financial analysis for BB Credit Requests from both prospects and customers. Analysis includes various levels of borrower and credit complexity including credit exposures in excess of $15,000,000. Credit Specialist is responsible for understanding policy guidelines and proficient at recommending structures that are prudent and competitive based on the BOKs risk tolerance. CRS will also have loan authority to decision loans up to $2 Million. CRS position is also responsible for the training of less tenured Credit Specialists and functions as a valued resource to lenders with respect to credit/industry analysis, loan policy and prudent underwriting standards; advanced knowledge to analyze, interpret or make deductions from varying facts and circumstances.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Prepares complex financial analysis; performs secondary, specialized analysis of the largest and most complex credits/loans, involves sensitive or critical customer accounts which substantially effect lending profits for division; completes independent analysis and risk assessments for both significant prospects and key existing relationships; Makes recommendations to Account Officers regarding appropriate loan products and loan structure based upon findings.
