Job Description

Position Summary
This role is responsible for supporting multiple areas of company finance operations by administration of accounts payable, commercial receivable accounts, administration of employee expense report processing, and/or file management. This role is also responsible for administrative support for purchasing and government billing.

Essential Functions Statement:
Ensures proper keeping of financial records by maintain accounting filing system using current technologies.
Codes and completes data entry of payables, receivables, expense reports or purchase orders to appropriate GL account.
Processes expense reports by reviewing for accuracy, verifying approvals, processing payment, and entering data in accounting system.
Reviews and reconciles company credit card statement.
Performs administrative tasks support for Government Billing documentation such as makes copies of documents for billing.
Process customer credit card payments and receivable account collections.
Prepares bank deposits and submits information in the accounting system.
Reconciles petty cash by reviewing receipts, counting money, and preparing replenishment request.

Competency Statements
Must be a highly motivated self-starter with attention to detail, deadline oriented and communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Must be flexible and have strong time management skills.
Excellent problem resolution skills, able to operate with minimal supervision and self-motivated when given new assignments
Well rounded technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Discretion and confidentiality is required at all times

Required Education and Experience
Education: High School diploma or GED.
Experience: 1+ years in accounting.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (specifically Word and Excel)

Preferred Education and Experience
Education: Associate’s or Business Degree preferred
Computer Skills: Great Plains and Concur experience preferred.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Employee must be a US citizen and not hold dual citizenship with another country.
