Overview
The Noble Research Institute, LLC is seeking a Quantitative Ecologist & Modeler to develop applied outcomes such as maps, calculators, and decision support tools for natural resource management in the areas of range, wildlife and land stewardship. Research will be in the Range and Wildlife Ecology group under the direction of Dr. Stephen Webb.

Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and implementation of experiments across Noble ranches, and in collaboration with private landowners, universities, and research institutes. The primary duties and assignments will be to perform research related to animal behavior, spatial ecology of wildlife, range management practices, and ecosystem/biodiversity monitoring. Other duties of the position will include, but are not limited to, statistical analysis and modeling of ecological processes, grant writing, presentation of research findings in oral and written formats, participation in education events and workshops, and collection and management of research data.

Qualifications
Master degree in biological, ecological, agricultural, natural resources, statistical/mathematical or other closely related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in statistical analyses, modeling, and statistical programming for research and/or decision support tools are required. Alternatively, a PhD in related field and no experience would be considered.
