Neuro Stepdown is a 28-bed unit with a focus on providing high quality, evidence-based care for acute neurological injury patients. The Stroke team is staffed on the unit providing us ability to treat every stroke patient as a priority. The St. John Heyman Stroke Center program is nationally recognized, earning the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association’s Get With the Guidelines – Stroke Gold Plus Award for three consecutive years. What You Will Do
As an Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
+ Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
+ Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
+ Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
+ Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Will NeedLicenses/Certifications/Registration:
+ Required Credential(s):
+ BLS Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA)obtained within1 Month (30 days)of hire date or job transfer date.
+ Registered Nursecredentialed from theOklahoma Board of Nursing.
+ LicensedRegistered Nurseobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required
+ None required.
