The Cell Planner identifies, releases and schedules all required planned orders for assigned manufacturing cell. In this role, you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. Candidate will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals/programs/processes for an area or business segment. Has the experience or expertise to solve problems. Able to develop and execute objectives for self and others. This role has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
+ Work with in MRP system (Oracle) to identify and release work orders
+ Identify and resolve build plan supply gaps
+ Demand planning for respective manufacturing cell
+ Take the ownership of inventory management by product lines to ensure minimum inventory level in stockroom, WIP inventory, dispose slow moving inventory while supporting fulfilment
+ Understand and track key deliverables
+ Participate in several calls/mtg to status the team on local progress/status
+ Identify, log, analyze, and manage risk (potential and realized), identify and implement appropriate corrective action to impact scope, schedule, quality and cost
+ ECO management
+ Work with-in ERP system (Oracle) to identify material requirements, analyze supply, and material availability
+ Apply appropriate optimization methodologies to balance service level, inventory, and resource utilization using advanced planning tools
+ Lead portions of annual physical inventories
+ Communicate cross-functionally and within assign teams to estimate effort, plan activities and negotiate consensus among individual team members on their appointed tasks
+ High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
+ 4+ years relevant experience
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities.
+ Prior competence in production control or planning, supervision, sourcing or material control environment desirable.
+ Ability to work effectively in all environments.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
+ Six Sigma training is preferred
+ Knowledge of value stream mapping, one-piece flow, Action Workouts, Kaizen, 5s, and other lean tools is preferred.
+ Strong understanding of APICs fundamentals
+ Experience with Excel
