We are seeking an energetic, well-rounded and skilled Project Manager to lead transportation design projects in our Oklahoma Division. This position will be responsible for project management, technical production, and mentoring technical staff members. Specifically, this person should have an excellent understanding of the ODOT standards and design procedures and the ability to manage the design of transportation improvement projects. The ideal candidate should have good relationships with ODOT and other local entities. Familiarity with developing transportation improvement plans for other state DOT’s is also a plus.
This position will require strong writing and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and within a team environment, data management, processing, and interpretation skills, and the ability to interface effectively with clients. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point required. Familiarity with ArcGIS software is also desired.
·Oklahoma Professional Engineer (P.E) required.((or the ability to become licensed in Oklahoma within 6 months.)
·Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
·Minimum 5 years roadway design experience.
·Strong leadership, client relationship development, and communication skills are required.
·Working knowledge of InRoads design software and MicroStation CAD software.
