Support of the goals, objectives, policies and procedures SSMOK and HealthFirst Physician management Services in the administration and daily operations of a clinic to include accounting and financial systems.
+ Oversees the daily operations of the clinic, including accounting and financial procedures, and ensures that the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently. Oversees the accounts payable system, including reviewing all invoices and approving payments.
+ Responsible for maintaining physician/staff/patient relationships conducive to a positive environment of care.
+ Oversee all personnel recruiting, training, evaluations, scheduling, and administering promotional/disciplinary action toward all employees. Ensure clinic personnel are trained on current billing systems.
+ Supervise and coordinate all of the activities of clinic personnel.
+ Oversees the orientation and training of all new clinic employees and maintain ongoing in-service training programs for existing personnel.
+ Conduct regular performance appraisals for all clinic personnel as outlines in SSMOK/HealthFirst policies and procedures.
+ Conducts regular staff meetings with office managers and physicians regularly but not less than quarterly and maintain minutes of these issues and resolutions.
+ Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all financial, operating, and other reports as directed. Participate in preparation of HealthFirst capital and operating budgets.
+ Oversee patient registration and medical record activities to ensure that required information regarding physician service/patient diagnosis is complete in order to successfully process third party reimbursement claims.
+ Coordinate through the office manager maintenance and supply systems necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the clinic.
+ Oversees patient satisfaction and complaint system for each clinic assigned.
+ Maintain an ongoing review of the administrative policies, procedures, and job descriptions of the clinic and make recommendations for changes to carry out the clinic’s objectives.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned that correspond to the overall function of this position.
+ Bachelor Degree required with a preference for Business or Health Administration. Degree may be substituted for two years of management experience, one year of management experience must be in a medical office setting.
+ Minimum of two years management experience in medical office setting with accounting, collections, insurance, and personnel management experience or one year of management experience in medical office setting with accounting, collections, insurance, and personnel management experience and one year management experience in field approved by VP, Operations – Physician & Ambulatory Services.

+ Lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 10 lbs.
+ Stooping, kneeling and/or crouching daily
+ Reaching, grasping, fingering, and/or feeling more than 5 hours a day.
+ Visual acuity in order to correctly distinguish skin tone variations, evidence of IV infiltration, infection; able to read telemetry, blood pressure gauges, etc.
+ Audio acuity to discern sounds made by various types of machinery or equipment that would indicate dangerous or improper operation
