Field Study Technician – Edmond, OK

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! TRAINING PROVIDED!

Kelly Services is currently seeking an Field Study Technician for a part-time opportunity in Enmond, OK.

As a Field Study Technician, you will be assisting as a part of a special aerosol study to collect pollutant data in an assigned location. The goal of this work is to test the performance of a variety of new air quality sensors compared to the instruments at the site.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:

+ This will be a year-long contract opportunity with a very flexible schedule requiring approximately 2-4 hours/week.

+ Must be able to travel to Raleigh, NC for training January 21st and 22nd

+ Must have access to a laptop computer with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word (2010 or newer), and a reliable internet connection

+ Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation to/from the field site

Additional Job Responsibilities:

+ Visual inspection of measurement devices

+ Collection and redeployment of data cards

+ Instrument troubleshooting, if necessary

+ Clear documentation of all inspections and troubleshooting activities in the field notebook

+ Preliminary data validation, using provided excel spreadsheet templates

+ Generate report summarizing data review, using template

Job Requirements:

+ In process of earning a Bachelors or Masters in Environmental Science or Life Science

+ Prior experience in a field work environment (outside of classroom environment is desired, but not mandatory)
