+ The Bus Driver drives a bus to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)
+ Complies with local traffic regulations and reports delays or accidents.
+ Inspects bus and checks gas, oil, and water before departure.
+ Service vehicle batteries as required.
+ Perform minor repairs such as tightening mirrors and screws, changing vehicle light bulbs.
+ Operate car/bus wash as required.
+ Operate generator as required and jump start busses as required.
+ May drive diesel or gas powered vehicle to transport passengers over established post and city routes.
+ Operate drivers training bus and train other personnel in bus operations.
+ Complies with all installation and State rules and regulations and ensures that seatbelts are worn when operating any vehicle. Attend all Safety Meetings and/or Training classes as scheduled.
+ Clean up oil spills and keep vehicle parking area clean of debris and oil.
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications : (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
+ High School graduate or equivalent.
+ A minimum of four years’ driving experience is a plus.
+ Possess and continuously maintain a current state of Oklahoma commercial driver’s license (CDL), Class A or B is required, “P” passenger endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
