We are looking for highly driven employee owners who have excellent client interaction skills and can assist and participate in the planning and design teams for medium to large water distribution and collection projects

Responsibilities:

+ Assists in planning and design activities of water supply and distribution projects\.

+ Works with multi\-discipline team of engineers and technicians in the design of municipal water treatment facilities as well as the contractors and construction staff on design/build projects or as Owner’s Engineer during the construction phase of our projects\.

+ Plans, organizes, and communicates project needs to project managers and department managers\.

+ Ability to develop technical reports, plans, and specifications for water distribution and collection projects \.

+ Assists in the planning and study efforts related to water facilities\.

+ This position requires an individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria with strong analytical and problem solving skills\.

+ Demonstrates ability in water transmission mains/distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, force mains, utility structures, and repated project\. In addition, needs to understand pipeline hydraulics, pressure zones, pipe class, and capacity analysis\.

+ Ability to coordinate with regulatory agencies\.

+ Develops and maintains client relationships\.

+ Involvement in local water and client organizations\.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering from accredited program required\.

+ Minimum 3 years related experience \(completion of master’s degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience\)

+ Successful completion of FE exam and ability to obtain PE within first two years\.

+ Knowledge of pipeline hydraulic, capacity analysis, pipeline alignment determination, ROW, and pump curve analysis is strongly preferred\.

+ Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with regulatory agencies\.

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills\.
